For EMOTITECH it was a pleasure and a honour to receive the official invitation from Regione Lombardia to be back in Milan to attend and celebrate the scientific price giving ceremony “Lombardia é ricerca” to Professor Rosalind Picard at the impressive Teatro alla Scala.
Rosalind Picard is a scientist and engineer, founder and director of the MIT Media Lab's Affective Computing research group and so much more.
In early 2000’s our founder Lodovico Minelli Sarteri got his copy of her book “Affective computing”. That book influenced his whole research in the field from those days on. Professor Picard was so kind to write a personal dedication on the book.
